Details of Ireland Processing with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland:

  • GNM/ BSc/ MSc nurse
  • IELTS academic score of Overall 7 with individual bands of 7 in Writing and Speaking, 6.5 in Reading and Listening.
  • OET scores of Speaking /Writing B, Reading /Listening C+ are also accepted
  • Work experience of at least 1 year (in the last 5 years) as a staff nurse
  • In order to get your application started, you need to submit an overseas assessment form with a fee payment of 350 Euros to NMBI to get the application form and supporting document checklist.
  1. Apply to the nursing board with relevant documents and get the assessment completed.

  2. Nursing Board will issue a Decision Letter to eligible applicants asking them to appear for the required aptitude test in Ireland to gain registration. Nursing based Aptitude Test also includes Clinical/Practical Test in Ireland.

  3. Candidates, who receive their Decision Letter from NMBI, can apply for a work permit with a job offer through HealthcareSmartz. We will arrange job offer as a Health Care Assistant for nurses who hold DL. Initially, a salary range of 18-20 Euro can be drawn per hour while working as a Health Care Assistant.

  4. The employer will manage to arrange dates for your exams; study materials will also be provided. Once you successfully pass the exams, you can start working as a Registered Nurse. Dependents can be taken to Ireland as soon as you gain registration in Ireland.
